Manchin will still have to name someone to fill the term until the election settles everything.
Joe does not want to nuke his own chance at the seat.
All the speculation will lead to talk shows that will almost be LeBronesq.

Cleveland was screwed the day Jim Brown retired.
Sort of like Detroit without direct road access to Canada.
