Charleston talk radio personality Michael J. Agnello, 57, has been charged with domestic battery after an argument with his girlfriend, Amy B. Dorsy of Sutton.
The incident took place at 1512 Bigley Ave.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha Magistrate Court, Agnello grabbed Dorsey by the arms and threw her down on the floor several times.
Police said Dorsey had reddish marks on the back of her arms and fresh bruising on her left hip and leg.
Also Wednesday, at 11:25 p.m., Dorsey was arrested for driving under the influence. Her arrest followed a crash involving the vehicle of the Charleston Fire Department supervisor.
The crash also occurred on Bigley Ave -- at 1526 Bigley Ave., which is a Go-Mart parking lot.
Police said the back of Dorsey's Buick hit the front of the city vehicle. When police arrived, they noted that she had the odor of alcohol on her breath and bloodshot, glassy eyes. She was asked if she had been drinking and said she had some wine, according to a criminal complaint.
She failed the sobriety test, according to police.
Both of them are at South Central Regional Jail. Agnello is one of the hosts of 58Live on WCHS radio.

I've never cared for his show, but to now know he's a woman beating pussy really makes me not have any respect for him, no matter how long he's been a "figure" in local radio......

On the local front, I am ducking and hiding as I see my ex bf's face all over the newspaper this morning (just a DUI charge, but you'd think it was murder) and my phone is blowing up, so I turned it off. He's a local talk show host and prior pasture (I know, don't even ask), so no surprise he is being nailed to the cross by the Gazette. People love that shit. Is this the time where I am forgiving and helpful or do I gloat in my triumph, having proved to my friends and family that I was exactly right? Hmmm...something to ponder. No, actually, I am taking the high ground and going to be supportive. God knows I've broken many a law and yes, I have been caught a time or two, just not as much as I should have, so no Ha ha's from Amy. Just glad that my life is going on without drama and I don't have to worry about the media. I do miss companionship (and going "without") though and find myself weak from time to time. That shit will keep you in a bad relationship for years if you aren't careful. But I'm cool. LOL And if it comes down to it, I will hide him until he gets his bearings again. Ugh....the things I do for the people that hurt me. Ugh. Okay...for the news today. This should be good-I feel fucking sarcastic.

Interesting comment in the Daily Mail:
First of all, I would like clarify the article you got so wrong…Amy Dorsey was arrested for DUI while fleeing the home of Michael Agnello due to a domestic assault; she was arrested for the dui after calling 911 and not being allowed to call for a ride to her family’s home. She was admitted to Thomas Memorial Hospital and suffered from severe contusions to the head and body, a possible fractured nose among internal injuries. She was not released yet at 7 p.m.
The legal team for Amy Dorsey will be checking into how it is that you would report the name of a domestic violence victim? I am sure it is legal but your moral standards have sunk to an all time low.
If you want the facts, you should not rely on the contacts of the Kanawha County PD nor should you EVER divulge the name of a victim of domestic violence.
This will get interested before it's over, Ms. Caswell and Daily Mail. Hope you sold a lot of papers while ruining a victim's privacy.
