WDCI = WETT
Anyone know why Withers changed the calls of WDCI to WETT? Format change upcoming? If so, it's about time.

Didn't the WETT sign used to be over on the East Coast in a beach community back in the late 70's/early 80's?

Yes it was used for years on 1590 in Ocean City, Maryland.

Could the call letter change to WETT have anything to do with their format?? KISS 104.1 = WETT KISS 104.1.... I could be wrong but ?????

WDCI used to stand for Dolphin Communications when Earl Stewart owned the station. At one point he wanted to change the calls to WDKS to reflect Dolphin and KISS.
Perhaps someone else wanted the WDCI calls? Their legal TOH has not sounded too legal to me the past few years...
Who is running the station now? I mean actually loading the spots and checking the automation. Salespeople from WDTV? The station has no local identity anymore.
