Boy are you guys harsh. I'm glad no one but me rolls tape on my show. On air fuck ups are bad enough without a bunch of internet douches saving it for posterity. I can think of at least two of my own on air gaffes from the past year or so that equal hers. Backselling the wrong song was one of them (and I was live, not voicetracked, which makes it worse). The other one was having the phone in program instead of audition when doing an interactive phone bit. That's the best thing about these jobs. No one dies and the economy doesn't crash when I fuck up. Everyone gets a good laugh and then goes back to calling me to request the same Van Halen songs I've been playing every day for 20 years.

Many of the folks in radio have a face for said job. In the "I just have to look good, I don't have to be clear" world of television, I think many people revel in their on-air gaffes. (This goes x2 for radio folks watching TV folks screw up, because the pay difference is so freakishly high, for no other reason than looks.)

Besides, everything is funnier with video. Take a stray golf ball to the nuts on the radio and no one knows what happened... do it on T.V. and win $10k from AFV.

when Ron Winders worked for wowk. as we taped the news for reshow at about 1:00am he would come in after the news and we would have to copy parts of his segment to another vhs tape. which he called Winder's Bloopers. i sometime think he would goof up just to have something to put on his tape. now what about the girl on the news the other night (wowk) who informed us that president obma fired Gen McChrysler. and she said it twice. looked like the old radio RIP and READ. when i worked at WTCR Eddie Walters would come up and ask me how i was able to pronounce all those commie names that were in the news. well when i was leaving for WFTC in Kinston, NC. i told Eddie that Ralph Emory did the very same newscast at 3:30am as i was coming to the studio. so i just listened to him and i had them down by time for me to do this same newscast. Radio was fun in those days.
