Dio Dead

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

RIP, RJD. Sux. :(
America is at that awkward stage.
It is too late to work within the system,
but too early to shoot the bastards.

The Revolver Golden Gods awards, during which Ronnie was given an award, will air this Saturday.. It was filmed last month... He looked great considering the fact that he had been thru 7 chemo treatments...

Here is a bootleg of his speech filmed from the pitt with a cell phone camera:

His two performances in the Charleston area; 1980 with Sabbath and 85 during his solo years were legendary. I missed them both but tried to make up for it later by following Heaven and Hell around on tour.. He had a show in Charleston in 87 (Sacred Heart Tour) that canceled the day of. Was told later that it was because he fired Vivian Campbell that day..lol Dunno if thats tru or not..
Who killed the radio star??

Rainbow in the Dark is one of my all-time favorite rock songs.

Didn't know he was 67, though...

I swear, I don't even pay attention to these morons anymore. It's pretty clear in their statements that they are just looking to intentionally get a rise out of people.

The worse thing that could happen to them is for everyone to stop caring.
