Huntington to host cornhole tournament in September

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Up to 500 cornhole players are expected in Huntington in September when the city hosts the Miller Lite World Championship of Cornhole V. Cornhole is played by tossing beanbags at a hole in a board. Tournament organizers say Huntington was selected to host this year's tournament because cornhole is popular in the Tri-State area. The two-day tournament will be held Sept. 4 and 5 at Big Sandy Superstore Arena. Last year's tournament was held in Evansville, Ind.

Two words: BAD TASTE

There are SO many bad taste phrases we "could" use to describe some new game that in reality is an old game with a new name. This game for instance has been around for many years in some form using bean bags. "Bean bags" of course doesn't sound as edgy (dirty) as "corn hole".

We all grew up hearing and using the term "corn hole" and we know exactly what it means. Yet, organizations from idiot churches to school groups are promoting the phrase and by default promoting the idea, sometimes innocently. (Although I cant see how)

Yep, every time Palin or Bachman make a speech..

Or every time a "birther" opens his mouth..
