WCHS Eyewitness News has comfirmed 8 miners dead in Raliegh County. Reporting it before CNN FoxNews or WSAZ. They still all only have 7.

Sad to hear of any of this news. Prayers go out to families.

The Hazzard KY CBS station had more on the disaster than any of the Charleston/Huntington stations had at six. Thought Kennie Bass did an EXCELLENT job on CNN's Campbell Brown show.

The Weather Channel has more coverage than Fox News.

Heard about it on MSNBC during Olberman last night. Called Kennie, he was working the story. Watched on MSNBC and CNN till a little past 10. Checked Faux News, Hannity made no mention, no crawl giving any info.
My thoughts are with the miners and families.

Primary difference was the section might work together unbroken for 20 years.
Fathers, sons, uncles and cousins might work in the same section.

What is funny is that CNN did a much better job presenting the tolerable coverage from WCHS on a national scale than MSNBC leveraging the great coverage from WSAZ.

But that did not stop anti-Toyota ABC from turning back to their anti-Massey and anti-Blankenship ways pulling the footage of their attack on Daddy Don out of the vault.
