I'm not sure how many of you are watching the WVU/Duke game, but WVU senior De'Sean Butler just suffered what looked like a terrible knee injury as he drove to the hoop. It hurt me just to see it happen. Hopefully it's not as bad as it appeared to be, but his reaction was a mix of agony and horror.

As much of a Duke-Marshall fan/WVU hater I am, that was bad to watch. He came across leading up to the game as a pretty good interview and a decent person. I'm hoping it's just a sprain and nothing's torn -- he said in the post game that he'd never really been injured, so maybe the reaction was to the pain and to just having a first real injury. It put a damper on the last nine minutes of the game, even though the writing was on the wall at that point.

That was the first time I've ever seen the golf cart at a basketball game though. Never a good sign at a football game either.

Good news for Butler, turned out to be only a sprain.
Of course, now he's a nancy for crying over a sprain.

Update, now Sporting News Radio says torn ACl, sprained MCL and two bone bruises.
