Did you happen to see the dead deer protest?

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Did you happen to see the dead deer protest?

Post by CoolBreeze »

This was over on Rt. 35 near St. Albans, WV............

People in Kanawha County , West Virginia have a warped sense of humor.

This is the pull off at Rt 35 and Miracle Dr
A deer was hit there.
The couch was dumped there previously.
Day two the deer was on the couch.
Day three the end table and lamp showed up.
Day four the TV and TV stand showed up.

The Trooper had to call WV DOT because of all the people stopping to take pictures.

The cardboard caption in front of the deer on the couch reads,

"Sorry Hunters.
Obama ruined healthcare.
We can't afford to have injured hunters on our conscience,
so I'm staying home!
Sorry,
the Deer."

The run-over speed limit sign was also a nice touch. A rare sight in West Virginia. :P

Jerry,

This looks like something you would stage.

Especially the Obama Health Care sign, which has nothing to do with the rest of the "scene".

Just sayin' ...

I might have except for one thing: I wouldn't touch an old dead deer if you paid me. 8O
