The Super Bowl

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

The Super Bowl

Post by Lee »

Who ya got?

I got the Saints by at least a touchdown.

IMO, they have more weapons and a better defense.

Plus, Manning is starting to become as overexposed as Favre.

Saints +3.

I'm not betting any money, though.

Colts... By a touchdown.

Pulling for Chocolateville. They will lose, Obama picked them. Much as he cursed my Wildcats.

The ads and halftime show sucked again this year, just as they have ever since Boobgate.

These geriatric rock bands are getting old.

The Super Bowl was on CBS...

"CBS: Miami" is a hit show on CBS

Its theme song was made famous by whom? (or 'Who'? or 'The Who')

Yep.

I'm almost 55, but I wouldn't mind seeing some current star power, just as long as someone's close to the delay button. Just think...we saw a nipple for a nanosecond a few years ago, yet civilization survived.

It seems somewhat ironic that on one hand, broadcasters should be careful about what is aired during certain hours, but then we have WTRF airing gentlemen's club commercials during the 'Big Game.'

AC/DC would have been the perfect halftime-show in my opinion.
