Guess who's #1?
The Kentucky Wildcats will reclaim their rightful place as #1 in tomorrow's polls

Re: Guess who's #1?
Well, Champion isn't there. But I do love working there. I love the fact that in my chain of command 2 steps up is the CEO. Bad thing is Marshall calls me "an IT guy" and has no idea what I do, except that it's important.
But there isn't a single server, system, or network the company runs that I haven't designed and implemented myself in the last 8 years (that is what I do, I am a network and systems engineer). There is something to be said for enjoying the fruits of one's labor.

UK and Villanova in the top 5.
This is going to be a potentially bad March/April if I have to cheer on the Wildcats (from KY) when they take on 'Nova.

One of the best corporate work situations, in my humble opinion, is to have a boss who supports you and praises your work, yet doesn't know (or want to know) everything you know and do, and how you do it. The Big Guy should be involved in much larger corporate issues and not micro-managing everybody's workspaces for them.Mike wrote:Well, Champion isn't there. But I do love working there. Re: Guess who's #1?
And one year ago I was shouting insults at the DOOK players as they left the Marriott in Atlanta to kick the Seminoles' ass to win the ACC Championship. I really wanted the FSU boys to win, but oh well....... It happens. And those Wildcats last spring??? Calipari was hired and we have an answer.Bob Campbell wrote:I'm at one now myself, unlike my last few.cgarison wrote:I am there myself and love every minute of it.Hoosier Daddy wrote:One of the best corporate work situations, in my humble opinion, is to have a boss who supports you and praises your work, yet doesn't know (or want to know) everything you know and do, and how you do it. Did hell freeze over? My 3 favorite teams are in the top three.
So Go Big Blue!
Go Nova!
I will do something for the Jayhawks later.

Short run at the top for UK.
Should they forfeit their wins now or wait til Calipari bolts for another refuge?

They should wait. It'll be more fun for the rest of us then.Bob Campbell wrote:Short run at the top for UK.

I've seen a couple of Villanova games and been impressed. I'm not normally a Nova fan but this year's team has been fun to watch.

Re: Guess who's #1?
I thought last year Nova's team was a fluke. I guess this proves they are the real thing. I am glad Jay Wright did not take the job at KY.
