Actually, this fact was on the PBS show "NOVA" about 30 years ago.
That is when it was a science show, not a political science show.

Unless there is an OSHA regulation regarding how to handle a Chilean tarantula, I don't think there is much to care about here given that you probably don't have a pet spider that gets as mean as my fiance's cat.

I pretty much haven't had any use for public broadcasting since I outgrew Sesame Street and NOVA went off...
