I quickly designed some shirts for those traveling the WV Turnpike, especially those trapped there last week, as was one local radio personality for 19 hours. I dont make a penny off this. I just thought it might be a good "get even" idea. Plus, might make an on air topic:
http://shop.cafepress.com/wv-turnpike
It says:
I survived the WV Turnpike.
Abandoned with no food, no water, no fuel
I survived the WV Turnpike T shirts.

RJ says his name is Rick Johnson, not "local radio personality".
I think he's just being pissy because he lets you on the show to pimp your new gig every other day, and you act like you were a newspaper reporter

Seems a little "bitter"... I'd prefer a revival of the old ones with the raised fake blood.CoolBreeze wrote:I survived the WV Turnpike.

Re: I survived the WV Turnpike T shirts.
You know... I started to use "blood font" for the text, but thought that may be going too far.
By the way...
In today's "Potpourri" section of the Charleston Gazette:
"For unlucky motorists who were trapped by the blizzard, Charleston conservative commentator
Jerry Waters is selling "I Survived the West Virginia Turnpike" T-shirts and sweatshirts via CafePress online."
http://www.wvgazette.com/Opinion/Editor ... 1001030216
To see the shirts, just go to www.cafepress.com and type "WV Turnpike" in the search.
