Chapter 11
Heartland Publications, LLC, which operates 50 paid-circulation newspapers in nine states, including The Logan Banner, today announced it will complete its financial restructuring under protection of Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The company will file soon its Plan of Reorganization, which shows how Heartland will reduce its debt by more than half and create a new capital structure for future growth.
