America's worst areas for theft. Logan, you rock!

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

America's worst areas for theft. Logan, you rock!

Post by CoolBreeze »

AOL has a link to "America's Top 15 Worst Areas For Theft". I think we could be number one if we try harder!

No. 1: Isla Vista, Calif

No. 2: Logan, W.Va.

OH... and who was 13 on the list?

No. 13: Danville, W.Va.

(Danville, you're just not trying)

What the hell is worth stealing in Logan? I have this picture in my head of 6 or 7 things being rotated among thieving relatives.

Growing up in Logan teaches you not to have any item of any value where people can see it. Just like every ghetto in America, rural or urban. You don't have to worry about it is much out in the hollers. All us creekers got guns and dogs.

I lived in Logan for 5 or 6 years after living in Cincinnati and now live in Charlotte. In that short period of time I had my car radio ripped out twice, home broken into twice, family heirloom stolen from an apartment I was living in, was shot at, had a knife pulled on me, Mother-in-laws house next door broken into, the house behind mine blown up by a guy who was pissed at the people living there, and I don’t even want to think about my time as Landlord. I was also offered a job as a town cop in one of the small towns in Logan, after stating I could not make it on what they would pay I was told "You won’t have to worry about money". Nowhere else I lived did I ever have even one crime happen to me. I could not wait to get out of there.

Damn Dude. I have worked in the ghettos of Philly and never had issues like that.

Given the population of the area, Craig may have single-handledly been responsible for those skewed crime statistics.

Good job, Craig. It mighta' been just YOU!

I really don't know how this date was gathered, but I would question this. As for Craig, they only stole stuff from you because you aren't from here. Perhaps they were jealous of your flaming, flowing red hair, I don't know. I can say that I have lived in eight different places in the county and I have only had anything stolen from two of those, both when I was a kid in the 70's. That having been said I have to type up a list of shit I stole last night to be put on Tradin' Post today.

Does this survey just count the politicians larceny or does it include regular people.
