If VSS Enterprise could actually achieve orbit, then NASA and SpaceX have just spent way too much money developing and launching rockets.

How can they possibly reach into space on private investments?
I thought they had to reduce medicare, dis-enfranchise veterans and abort babies to do that.

SpaceX is a private company that has put rockets into orbit and will be working as a contractor at Cape Canaveral launching satellites and delivering supplies to the ISS with unmanned rockets.
