Doggy fire in Huntington

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Doggy fire in Huntington

Post by CoolBreeze »

Was watching WSAZ news this morning about a fire in Huntington. No people were in the building, but a couple of dogs were. The camera caught the firefighters placing one of the dogs on a stretcher. This was then loaded into an ambulance and the dog was taken to a Vet somewhere according to Rob Johnson.

Slightly troubling to me because....

An ambulance and it's two paramedics cost roughly about $200,00 a year depending.

What if the ambulance wrecks on the way to the Vet... kills or injures a civilian or the paramedics?

Did they run lights & siren? ( I would certainly think not)

Have we lost our minds? There's a very short distance between "dog lover" and "crazy person". That's why so many people get into fights over dog issues. This however, seems to step over the line for anyone except the crazy person.

The dogs probably deserved better treatment that a gun shot drug dealer.

I love my dog, but I wouldn't get a Snuggie for a Human.
They just look too much like what the mutants wore in Omega Man.
