Ohio vs. Marshall in bowl game
It looks like Ohio and Marshall will renew their football rivalry in Detroit later this month -- they haven't faced on the gridiron since 2004:
Little Caesars Detroit, Mich. ESPN 1 p.m. Ohio (9-4) vs. Marshall (6-6)

This is God's way of telling Marshall they should have stayed in the MAC.

Burning question, will Snyder coach the bowl game?

I didn't realize that 6-6 Marshall would even get a bowl bid. Did they end up benefiting from 6-6 Notre Dame opting not to go to a bowl game?

They benefited from having just enough of a fan base proven to be willing to travel to Detroit for a bowl game.
Notre Dame probably would never play a third or fourth tier bowl game which is all they could get at 6-6.

A bowl game in downtown Detroit, our dream come true.

Hey now, don't knock Detroit. It's like Huntington, except 10 times bigger with great restaurants, bars and night life. And casinos!!! Real casinos, not like the dog track in Cross Lanes.
Seriously, Detroit is frigid this time of year, but it's a great city despite the economic disaster it's experienced. The people are fantastic. And it's a great rock n roll town. Definitely a third tier bowl, but they'll treat the teams like it's the Sugar Bowl.

They have BARs in Detroit?
John Dillinger used a BAR to great effect.
16lbs was deemed heavy and the M-60 replaced it.

It's Detroit Rock City bro. They have bars, and BARs. If it shoots, it's on the street.
