Penny Moss Leaving Channel 3

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Long time anchor Penny Moss announced Tuesday she's leaving WSAZ to become a full-time mom.

Moss, who has worked at the station for almost 13 years, recently returned after giving birth to her fourth child. She anchors WSAZ's 5:30 Edition and Six O'Clock from the Charleston studios with Tim Irr, who is in Huntington.

She now plans to give her full attention to her four children, daughters Claire, 8, and Ava, 5; son Bennett, 2; and youngest daughter Laurel, 3 and 1/2 months.

"I'm going to stay home with my four babies. It's time," said Moss at the end of the 6 p.m. news Tuesday.

Moss' last newscast will be this Friday at 6 p.m.

It's more like she will have to change her Rock 105 listening habits. You're forgetting she's very deeply in love with me, almost obsessively.

However, if this means she won't be doing MyZ at Ten or the 11:00p on top of the evening news like she had been doing, then yes, my viewing habits will change.

Best wishes and congrats to Penny Moss. It had to be a hard choice and I admire her for it.
