Maybe... but the fame should still go to Duct Tape Man!

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

MCMECHEN, W.Va. -- A McMechen man whose mugshot won a measure of Internet fame is planning to sue companies he says are profiting from the image.

Patrick Tribett was arrested in Bellaire, Ohio, in 2005. Police say he had been huffing the fumes from gold spraypaint, and the lower half of his face was golden in his mugshot.

New Martinsville lawyer H. John Rogers says the image has appeared on T-shirts, coffee mugs and even a billboard in Europe.

Rogers says he's preparing lawsuits against four companies for using Tribett's image for financial gain.

After the 2005 incident, Tribett was charged at least three more times with public intoxication in West Virginia.
Rogers says Tribett has been sober for eight weeks and is making progress.

This guy is GOOD, no doubt, but I still vote for Duct Tape Man on a T shirt.

Charles Manson lived in McMechen, WV during his formative years.
It is near Wheeling.

He has that blank-faced Wheeling stare.

DISC JOCKEY DISCOVERS HE'S THE SON OF CHARLES MANSON.

A man given up for adoption at birth has spoken of his anguish at discovering that his long-lost father is notorious serial killer Charles Manson.

Matthew Roberts said: 'It was like finding out your father is Hitler'.

The 41-year-old DJ made the discovery after tracing his mother and learning she had been raped by Manson during a drug-fueled orgy nine months before he was born in 1968.
