btw, the e-mails that were hacked into don't actually claim temps have been declining. They do recommend adding more current temp records into the latest study, as the temps have been increasing more rapidly. The actual e-mail in questions states, "just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years".
The "Nature" referred to is the science magazine. The real temps replaced estimates used originally in the study model.

Once Tim’s got a diagram here we’ll send that either later today or first thing tomorrow.

I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline. Mike’s series got the annual land and marine values while the other two got April-Sept for NH land N of 20N. The latter two are real for 1999, while the estimate for 1999 for NH combined is +0.44C wrt 61-90. The Global estimate for 1999 with data through Oct is +0.35C cf. 0.57 for 1998.

Actually, they were removing the fudge factor by inserting the real temps, replacing the estimates. It's really not that difficult to understand if you have a high enough reading level in English.

By the way, it's not getting colder. It's getting warmer. I know that's probably wild eyed craziness because it comes from the vast majority of the scientific community, but it's what the evidence points to.
I know we can't trust scientists. They're all tools of the far left. Besides, science isn't real anyway right? Just because 99% of the scientific community supports a position that can be backed up by repeatable experimentation doesn't mean it's true. I mean it's much more realistic to believe a couple guys who read a website that said the "books were cooked". You certainly don't want to trust the people who are actually out there making the observations and doing the field work. That NEVER works.
I think I've come over to your side guys. Science is all a big scam funded by the left to take control of the populace and push socialism.
Screw that Galileo guy and his heliocentric theory too. If the sun were the center of the solar system it wouldn't so obviously rise and set in our sky, thus proving it revolves around the earth.

The planets, Earth included, have shown a slight uptick in overall planet temperature. Even with the uptick, OUR OWN planets temperature is still lower than it was almost 30 years ago.

And not all scientist are left leaning nitwits... but you should go google a few stories on what happens to the ones that refuse to drink the kool-aid.
