The elimination of pre-existing condition clauses and the availability of a public option will mean that my I will probably go back along the route of independent consultant. Working a job for benefits is pretty sad, but many of us stay in jobs because the process of procuring health insurance is the biggest PITA in today's world. The only thing as close to that is purchasing a car in NJ and registering it in KY by proxy (NJ does not allow for a car to be driven to another state to be registered) or purchasing a house.
