Fuzzy Spots
First I thought it was my old TV. Then today I was at the hospital watching a new flat screen and....there it was again. Big Sandy spots are "fuzzy", as if they were dubbed from old film. Anyone notice/know why? Looks bad!

Re: Fuzzy Spots
I watch the local stations down here occasionally, and I hear/see the same thing a lot on a number of advertiser's spots. What Einstein can't take 5 seconds to normalize a spot and make sure it's not over-modulated??
America is at that awkward stage.

Re: Fuzzy Spots
Since production equipment has become so inexpensive and video editing
is available for your laptop, more mom and pop commercial production
companies are popping up. Perhaps this is an explanation for the poor quality we are seeing.
I don't think the gear is at fault, or maybe even the people.
Quality control and attention to detail may be at fault.

I've got some fuzzy spots, the doctor told me they were disgusting but harmless.

from what I've came to understand big sandy has an employee that has been making their spots for a few years.... personally, if its a quality issue stations and the providers (suddenlink, etc) should really start rejecting poor quality spots and tell em until they start making proper looking spots that none will air....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, seriously. I'm not making fun of you. If you have 3 minutes of material that good you should do one of the open mic nights at the Funny Bone. I can tell you next time they do one.
