I hate this question, because it dodges the issues.if It's so bad here why are you still here?
On the state level, the is the standard rhetorical response to everyone who's had a problem with the way things are for the last few generations. Unfortunately, when people get fed up enough, they will leave. The problems remain unsolved, which is counterproductive to the people who stay here.
The thing to remember is that the people who have problems with they way things are actually care enough to bring them up. Apathy is the real enemy.
At this point, I'm totally apathetic. I really don't care what happens to this state. Pissing in the wind gets old after awhile... But some people still do.
On the national level, I still very much care what happens. Anyone who is halfway paying attention has to note the decline in American exceptionalism in recent years (which started long before Obama). We seem content to lose footing in almost everything, including our military power and currency. We are rapidly becoming an ugly bastion of high-tax socialism, run amok by trial lawyers and union goons.
Sound familiar?
WV is so far behind, the rest of the country is catching up with us.
Amazing.
