LOS ANGELES (AP) - The chickens have come home to roost for Los Angeles city dwellers who keep roosters.

The City Council on Tuesday passed an ordinance that—with few exceptions—allows only one rooster per property.
It was spurred by complaints over noise and hygiene and concerns over illegal cockfighting.

Let's take this local: Here is a graph from a video that I borrowed from WSAZs website. It shows the big "success" of the Government owned Charleston to Huntington bus service (and vice versa). Back in February, the service had an average of 13 riders for the morning route, and 14 riders for the evening route. TODAY, that ridership has increased to 17 riders for the morning commute and 20 riders for the evening. (24 in Sept) WOW! With success stories like this, I simply cant understand why we're always dead last in everything!
