The way I see it: my feet stink and there's dog crap on the ground. You should not be spending more than twenty bucks on something whose primary purpose is to be a buffer between those two constants.

When people ask me how I can spend $200 on a Hot Wheels car, I tell them that I only spend $20 on a pair of sneakers, $20 on a pair of dress shoes, buy no shirt over $6, do not go out to movies, do not have cable TV, do not drink alcohol and do not receive a newspaper.

Plus, I am a tither and that means that 90 cents out of every dollar that I make goes further than the whole dollar that a non-tither makes. Plus, I am covered by God as to things breaking down, being stolen, and having general everyday problems because...since I am a tither...He rebukes the devourer for me.
