I heard this a couple years ago. The hypotheses was that skinny people cannot survive any illness or operation that results in a period of difficulty eating while people with lots of stored energy have plenty of margin in that area.

I have a question? Any one on this board from the West Coast? I am interested in finding out just what "Halburn", is up too.
Is he some where "On Air", in Calf, hosting a talk show about the abuse he has endured on http://www.girlofwords.com blog site?
Has he washed up, on shore on a beach, with his little shark?
I have been following the comments on the GOW's blog for about a month. She and others have brought to light the lies, and other questionable content of his website from Putunam County.
If you have not visited, GOW site it makes for very, side splitting reading.
To bring peolpe up to speed on what has happened.

Mark, wants $350.000.00 for his house..... (( opps... Mother-In-Law's house ))
Mark, does not pay a B & O tax for his business, (His website)
Mark, is still upset about noise from Wal-Mart across from his home. (And we think farting flies)
Mark, posts letters in support of himself and his cause. (If you want to send him a letter to post... Please provide a phone number and copy of Driver's L.)
Mark, Is reported to be in Calf. doing a radio show for someone? (According to Mark), although I thought it was a station in Canada.
Mark, was going to bring suite against GOW..... (That's what started all the comments)
Mark, hates the Putunam County officals. (Well Mark hates everyone, so no big deal, those he does not hate he sue's)
Mark, hates WV and it's people. (From comments posted on another web site.)
Mark, likes to have pictures taken holding small sharks. (Maybe real or plastic.... unsure)
