Don't you watch Fox News? GE is positioned to run the buy/sell carbon tax credit market (for, hrmph, hrmph, a small fee.) GE CEO Immelt, despite destroying the value of GE stock BEFORE the collapse, is a big Obama supporter, and is named to Obama's Economic Counsel. GE owns NBC. NBC owns MSNBC. NBC and MSNBC have noteably been pro-Obama since day one. NBC president Zucker has given orders to underlings to CUT OUT any negative Obama economic stories. Zucker is an Obama supporter, but driven NBC news brand into the ground. Zucker takes his prders from GE president Immelt. GE stands to make billions on the cap and trade market if it goes through.

Cap and trade will not reduce pollution by even a five-gallon bucket, it will just raise energy costs that YOU pay by 50%. When you pay that 50% increase, it will be doing nothing more than making Obama buddy Immelt rich, and raising more tax money for the Federal Government.

I don't think Immelt was a lefty-supporter until he realized he was heading for being the worst CEO in the history of GE, extraordinarily embarrassing for the guy who was set up for incredible success by Jack Welch. One of Jack's rules was a business segment had to be #1 or #2 in its category or be sold off; if Immelt had that personal rule, he'd have to break up the whole company.

Immelt now believes the only hope for his reputation is to become a virtual ward of the state, for dealing with it in a Marxist regime is a matter of patronage and cronyism, which he can "earn" via his media outlets (the changes at CNBC, in particular, have been shocking), and not free-market competition, where he's clearly shown he can't earn shinola.


As far as "carbon credits" go, I'll direct one belch or fart into a jar for every credit you buy from me.....your receipt will state that you participated in "sequestration."
