I have no problems accessing woay.com.
The site could use some fresh paint, though.
No.
Scratch that.
A bulldozer and a dumpster.
Then buiild something brand new and nice.
I work with a few former OAY people, brunner shouldnt be shouldering all the blame, from what I hear the owner puts enough cash into the place to keep it barely running.

I am in Summersville two times this week, and am typing this in the Sleep Inn. I saw Channel 4's noon newscast today. The female anchor did an admirable job, but when they go to a national story, purple people populated the picture on at least two occasions. They never put up the anchors' names on screen. They ran a PSA for an anti-litter campaign at least twice. One would think the sales staff-assuming it's more than one person-could find some paying accounts. And yes, it's still the same studio, caught in a time warp.

It really is sad- The anchors try- Alicia Pence in the morning has gotten really good (must be time to move on).... the digital signal on 50 comes and goes- where they sign off nightly it seems they have a hard time getting the station back on the air in the morning...would it not pay for them to keep the transmitter up running infomercials or news all nite??? plus WOAY is on 50.1 as HD stereo and 50.2 in SD- looks like you could make some money on the side with the second frequency (guess they cannot afford the 2nd programming for 50.2 -sad!)... ya gotta wonder how much longer they can stagger along as a viable station. (If it was like the car industry and the networks were like GM & Chrysler poor WOAY would be dropped as a 'dealership" for the networks. It is like a ticking bomb......
