Hell yeah!!!! This takes funny to a new level. This morning's show has suffered because I had to read all 480 posts on this chicks blog. I read Putnamlive.com every day, and my parents still reside in Hurricane. This guy takes "batshit crazy" to a new level. I just wish I could love anything as much as Hallburn hates Walmart. He's like a cross between Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons, and your crazy grandfather telling Walmart to get off his lawn. I was at a wedding last year, and ran into a Putnam co. big shot I know. The folks from the local gov think this guy needs to be in a padded room. I don't want to post the stories I was told because this was a private conversation (and Hallburn may try to sue us), but there was some defcon 5 crazy shit that made me spit out my Patron. If the Daily Show doesn't jump on this, somebody is sleeping on the job.

By the way, I think it might be fun to come to the Hurricane Walmart parking lot late in the evening and engage in belching "Viva La Vida!" I've, uh....been working on that. Never mind......

By the way, based on something in one of her blogs, I checked the location on the "Bird's Eye" view on Live Maps and the "Street View" on Google Maps. I must admit I had no idea he was THAT close and am now feeling for him again....I assumed he was on the road to the west with some amount of natural barrier. Walmart or the developer should have bought them all out and paid them to go away.

Still, just a few hundred feet off an interstate, I don't know why you'd complain about noise, especially when the house was apparently free. And it's more than a little much to refer to his locale as a "neighborhood."

Call some of the folks down in Cabell County and see what their experience has been with the guy..........The prosecutor, the county commission, goodwill, St. Mary's hospital.....the list goes on and on. He harasses, threatens and is beligerant. Coo coo for coco puffs is a nice way of putting it......

I gave up and drove to the Hurricane Wal*Mart to see for myself.
I assume Mark lives in the blue house that has half the grass cut.
(note to mark: better remind wifey to finish lawn, looks like hell.)
That is not by any stretch of the imagination a $140,000 house.
It's on a gravel road. It is next door to a construction company.
Excavators, cranes, dozers are parked outside a blue garage building.
The rest on the area is run down. House is slightly above the
Wal*Mart lot. Kids toys strewn around side yard. Mark may
have had a noise case during construction but not now.
I was there for 30 minutes or so and heard more noise from
I-64 than from Wal*Mart lot. I think he is just upset that the company
did not buy him out at his jacked up price and now he is stuck.
If Mark had an actual case he would have had a civil suit against Wal*Mart
from the get-go. He doesn't. He is trying to leverage the county politico
types and getting nowhere. He is a loser.
