Kings of Leon is the worst band since Nickleback. In fact, I would happily sit through Rockstar 10 times before I would listen to any of that garbage.

That "distant wailing" in "Use Somebody" calls to me in some way, though........I'm diggin' it.

But that song needs something....I've thought of it as "The Little Song That Almost Could."

Nickelback sucks compared to Kings of Leon. They're not a wildly great band, but definitely more interesting.

Then again, I'm an unabashed alterna-geek, so I like this type of "sound".

Couldn't agree more. I like it, but there is something slightly "off" about it.

"Sex on Fire" rocks, though.

Corporate rock is corporate rock, no matter how many tattoos you put on it.

I guess this is the part where you wow us with five "real" bands that nobody has ever heard of, yet our lives are meaningless until we hear them.



Actually, Silversun Pickups is the band I like the the most in that lineup. "Panic Switch" is awesome.

Naw, I'm completely cynical about it now. I don't believe there is anything alternative. If they're playing at a gig for a radio station, one owned by a major corporation, and they're in LA for gosh sakes, they're not alternative.
