I don't have time for anything than FFXI... I have so much invested in my character that I feel like it would be a waste to dump it, even though that day is inevitable.

And probably sooner than later. SquareEnix's new MMO, titled "Project Rapture", will be officially announced next month. It may be released as soon as the holiday season later this year. I think everyone's hanging around at least until it's released.

FFXI is an old game the trade rags love to hate, but it just surpassed the 2 million active characters mark, making it 2nd in population behind WoW.

After a long drought of new players, I see noobs running around everywhere these days.

star wars galaxies was holding that #2 spot for a long time. I've heard good things about the FF MMO but i've been leary to start sinking time into a new MMO.

Do you know how many marriages through WoW I have seen implode????? The worst part is that these chicks will divorce their husbands, run away from their children, and run away to wonderland to be with their new guy. Only to discover that even if he is not a loser living at home with his parents, he is a geek only interested in work and gaming. His and her XBox 360's did save one relationship, Although I consider that an exception.
