The markets where Clear Channel will operate without ratings are Grand Forks, ND; Sioux City, IA; Sarasota, FL; Jackson, MS; Lima, OH; Parkersburg, WV; and Williamsport, PA.

Maybe--and maybe not. Today's stories indicate that CC has signed a 3 year contract with Arbitron--and Arbitron's SEC filing indicates the contract covers the Parkersburg market, as well as those other six markets.

OK--got update from Tom Taylor. Arbitron's PR folks were the source of the story about cancellations in 7 markets.

Probably the 8K was prepared before all the i's were crossed and t's dotted.
