A Request to Ask

Post by BobFrank »

Hey All,

If someone nearby WOTR could give them a quick listen and see if they are up and broadcasting, so that I can update their Wikipedia page, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

I checked when I got to work this morning and nothing was there. Granted, I'm in Morgantown right now, but I'm on the second highest point in the city limits and I've heard it here before. I'll check again on my way home tonight and submit an update.

Drove around Fairmont this evening (with chicken). Hit many spots where I know WOTR should be on and they weren't. I guess that kind of makes my research "official": they ain't on...

Driving with chicken....?

I once spent two days in the Mason County Jail for that offense.

Sorry, I thought that was only in Wisconsin. Ask Hip Langster. He'll clear it up...

So, since it hasn't been asked in a while...what's the deal with the "box o'girl"?

I'm told to keep putting things into her crockpot.

You did see her in "This Tree Stinks" didn't you?

Do you all realize what a quandary you all put me into? I'm berated for having a Monkees avatar and have to become "HI, I'M BILLY MAYS FOR THE EXCITING 'GIRL IN A BOX'" when I post a picture of Edna. I just wish it were all over and I could find a nice 1971 Hot Wheels Olds 442 unopened blisterpack photo to put up and maybe the voices would stop...

I remember a really nice (and young and pretty) teacher at my high school in the 80's who drove what I remember as a dark green '71 Cutless, might have been a 442. Cool car. Nice teacher. She knew Karate, too.

That looks like a GTO Judge stripe on the Hot Wheel 442. I don't remember ever seeing a 442 striped like that, but I'm no expert.

Looks like after the below post on ICR's Facebook page, WOTR is finally up and running.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Inspirati ... 5338865556

Now to see if this will actually bring in any listeners in Clarksburg and Weston, or they will just keep flocking to WKKW per usual.

Nah, the GTO stripe was different.
