Fox's Shephard Smith drops F-word during webcast

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Musta dropped his eyeliner pencil.
America is at that awkward stage.

Steady boys, Genlock, Arp, others. I've found a Fox news guy I AGREE with.
It's okay. Take deep breaths, put your head between your knees.

Sheppard Smith rocks. Apparently the F-bomb wasn't written on the teleprompter, as he would have screwed that up. :-)

I don't like how he over-dramatizes the headlines. But other than that, he's pretty good.

Just another "Do as they are told" Faux "news" talking head that could have been a real newsman but sold out to the corporate machine instead..

Smoke some more crack. Or go watch some real hards news on NBC. I get sick of the MoveOn attack on Fox. Show us something that's been on FNC that isn't true.

Uh ... MOST of what you hear from Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, or the smartasses at Fox and Friends.

We're talking about *NEWS*, not Op-Ed.

News and Op-Ed are hopelessly intertwined on FOX. "Straight" news stories are bookended by right-wing political commentary and sneers railing against those Socialist Lefties on an everyday basis. FOX blurs the lines like no one else in this regard. It's the only news network that wears a political affiliation on it's sleeve and as a badge of honor. The only people who can't/won't/don't see it are, of course, the diehard Right Wing Nut audience members.

And, as a cynical marketing tactic, MSNBC is a mirror image of Fox, just from the other perspective. Either is about as objective as Tom Roten. Almost.

No, you're someone who has never watched "The Fox Report". Thanks for proving it.

So, you can't think of anything FNC has incorrectly reported? Like when Dan Rather at CBS reported on forged anti-Bush papers? Odd.

Hey, did you get from your non-FNC sources about NBC president Zucker actually ordered CNBC to quit reporting negative Obamanomics reports? Or how NBC owner GE president Immelt is on Obama's economic counsel despite having virtually destroyed GE? Or how Obama is behind GE's multi-billion dollar "samrt-grid" plan? Just wondering.

Umm...

You are not sick of any "MoveOn" attack from anyone..

You are just sick of the fact that what you have bought and what they have sold has been exposed...

If you really can't tell what is fake about FNC then I don't have enough hours in the day to bring you up to speed...

Go back to first grade and then give me a call in 12 years...

Umm... No, actually I remember proving the lies, distortions and manipulations of the Faux "News" channel on many many many many many occasions on this here board and what we always seemed to get was a bunch of blind followers of the Rightwing regime crying foul, responding with half truths, and trying to change the subject...

Nothing new when is comes to a political message board..

Rightwingers just can't handle it when they are proven wrong...

So, they just respond by either deleting the posts of the folks that prove them wrong, veering the subject matter off topic, claiming that the posters are "Unpatriotic" because they don't buy the lies that the Government feeds them, or engaging in other childish behavior in hopes of getting the thread, or board shut down..

Happens every time...

Now, if you would like for me to back up ANYTHING that I have said about the lies, distortions, half truths of the Fox "News" channel, or you would like for me to re-open any of the debates that I have won regarding the disasterous actions/failures of the Bush Administration, I will happily do so...

Just do me a big fave first though..

Make sure ARP doesn't wave the white flag of defeat by deleting my posts again...

He has been doing that little too much lately...

So, the real question is really this: Are the Rightwingers mature enough to debate the issues in 2009 that they were afraid to discuss in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008???

If so, then we can just go ahead and continue down the path that we are already on with the Rightwingers taking their pot shots at, while deleting the posts of, anyone that doesn't buy what they are selling...

If not, then lets get it on, because class is starting and I hate for you Rightwingers to waste a second of your tuition money...

Through all of history, the sane have wondered about the minds of the insane....what they see, hear, think, and "remember." The truth is you never proved anything even one time, so we now know that the mind of the insane is full of fantasy that it is convinced is (was) reality. Thanks for the insight.

Arp’s Corollary Liberals cannot not lie!

The Second Corollary to Arp's LawLiberals are so immersed in falsehood that they are unable to even recognize truth as being what it is.
As the author of Arp's Laws, I, of course, already know them to be true, but it's a great pleasure to have moments like this during which others may learn that, too.

What you don't know, MO'MAD, is that a record is made of every action a moderator takes, and Lester, who replied in disbelief with "ooookaaaayyyy," can see every one of those actions. The easily-checked history of moderator activity would show that I have not touched a single one of your insane posts (you know the old adage..."when someone is making an insane fool of himself, let him go!). As a matter of fact, I have probably been the least active of all of us.

So there. 8)
