Why this side of the "Great Radio Barrier" is the best...

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Why this side of the "Great Radio Barrier" is the best...

Post by Mike »

What can we listen to here?

The Tri State's only emo free rock station... WZZZ-FM 107.5

The Tri State's only 80's station... WLGC 1520 (yeah, weird)

The Tri State's best Adult station, WNXT-FM 99.3...

If you like thug music, yeah, 107.1 WBKS. Inaudible in Little Detroit (AKA Huntington)

Hog reports and a throwback to the old days... Thank you for making the U-Turn to WUGO 102.3

Compared to Huntington, we have it much better :)

Is anyone else getting burned out on BOB 101.5 FM?
At first, it seemed like a breath of fresh air.
Now, it's the same old same old.
If I hear The Pina Colada Song one more time, I'm gonna 'off somebody.
The song was only mildly interesting back in 1979 when it first came out.
Stop sounding like a gay man's iPod.
Why is every commercial done by Virginia West and JB Miller?
Can the BOB FM imaging guy say anything more stupid than some of the stuff they're using now?
Refresh the imaging and the music, for gawdsakes ...

Hoosier Daddy ... regarding your ??? about Bob FM ...
My intel (which could be a lot like the WMD intel :? ) tells me that there are only four voices in-house on Fifth Ave ... JB, Virginia, Jason and Alan. I'm told it's been that way since last year when CM LLC promoted Nate and me to listener status.
As for the rest of your questions, my intel didn't tell, but I didn't ask, either. So I can't really tell.
BTW, we need to have lunch sometime when I'm in Apple Town!

When I actually DO listen to the radio, it's usually x1063 or ROCK 105...I don't have complaints with either one.

Well, I lie. That guy they call Big Poppa Jay sounds like a little gay man who needs slapped.

Hey AC, those voices are down to three. Hoover left for greener pastures last week.

True. True.
My intel just told me that Alan is now at a Charleston station. His last day was last Thursday.
I guess there are still 4 voices. My intel told me that T is now doing afternoons on BOB.

Alan is apparently following my job path in reverse. I was at the station in Charleston he's going to before the River. Greener pastures? Well, it's a hell of a lot better than when I was there, with Animal in the big seat.
