Been there, done that.
My cancer is gone.
Get the test, diagnose early.
Radiation is painless and few side effects happen.
None of the side effects are long lasting.
Impressive, complicated electronic machinery.
Humming, buzzing noises and star trek lighting.
Lasers everywhere for positioning.
Pretty radiation therapists.

If anyone needs to talk about this PM me.
Or Jack.

Get well, Jack. You are an old friend to many of us.
Stay well, Genlock.
Good advice. More people need to hear it sooner.

Gina Long is beautiful as always.
Where do all those smokin' hot 100 lb. munchkin sized beauties go when you're in your 40s?

Godspeed Jack.

Jack, keep up the positive attitude and stay healthy. I want to hear those golden pipes flexed over the airwaves the next time I am in the tri-state, even if it is only for a PSA. In my world, you are the voice of the tri-state from the time I was born on WKEE till the time I moved away (the first time) in 1997.

Genlock, you stay healthy too! Who else is going to give me a hard time for spending too much time away from my home???

Jack:

Godspeed and we're pulling for you, too.

You can beat this. Like Genlock, I know whereof I speak, though from a very slghtly different perspective.

I was for the most part a SuperCMI/ColorRadio listener since you could hear them at night and it was my hometown. I still grew up listening to Jack through the loud tinny PA speakers at Ashland's Southside pool while creating no swim areas and getting detained poolside by the guards. Then I lucked into the biz thanks to the Martin family. When WAMX dropped the AOR format I moved from nights to the same timeslot opposite Jack and later working with him at KEE.

I have to say I appreciate it now more than I did then, but the man is a Tri-State radio Legend and an Icon if ever there was one.

Get well Jack and God speed! We all know "who loves us most".

Jack:

Don't know you, never heard you, but you can rest assured that I'm praying for you!!!

And of course, I can not let my keen insight into things that others fail to notice not work...even if it is a sensitive subject such as this.

But in most posts regarding prostate cancer on any message board in the world, PSA would not have the same meaning that it had in this thread on this board...
