As for the whole "who answered the questions before Google" topic, the answer is that usually people would argue for hours about it before. Now a barroom debate can be definitively settled (at least potentially) with a mobile phone with internet access. I love being able to pull up something on the internet in those situations to prove someone spouting misinformation wrong.

Awesome video. I did find that fact regarding technology doubling every 2 years to be true when I entered college. I had an entire class on DOS. I still use DOS commands and keyboard shortcuts that would blow the minds of all those Windows geeks.

Type only the name of the web site you want to goto in the address bar, (no http://www ... or the .com). Hold down the ctrl key and press enter.
