Had a chance to see a somewhat illegal copy of "The Wrestler" this weekend (since it will never to come to Charleston, let alone Logan). Have to say its a fantastic movie. My opinion of the film isn't just because I'm an old school wrestling fan who hates the SHIT called "sports entertainment:. It really is very realistic portrayal of the business. The only critisim I would have is that the film uses way too many insider terms..so many that if you aren't in the business or an Internet mark you won't know what the hell they are talking about. Other than that, great movie. For those who are inclined to break the law on a regular basis (Campbell, Nunley, Kidd, etc) I would highly recommend you steal a copy somewhere.

I've been dying to see this movie. Too bad Rourke didn't win the Oscar for Best Actor.

That sucks about West Virginia not getting The Wrestler. Hopefully it will be out on DVD soon. It was a tremendous film, and while I haven't seen Milk and Sean Penn has done some great work (like 21 Grams), I can't imagine a performance that could truly outdo what Mickey Rourke did in The Wrestler.

Just watched it today online.

A really good movie. I wasn't too crazy about the ending, but otherwise no complaints.

Just waiting for The Watchmen.
