Non-Mensa employees

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Non-Mensa employees

Post by genlock »

MANCHESTER, N.H. -- A Hazmat call to a Manchester Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant was determined to have been sparked by a hoax call, police said.

Firefighters were called to the restaurant on Hooksett Road because employees reported eye and skin irritation from a fire extinguisher. When emergency crews arrived, they found three employees disrobed outside of the building.

The employees told police that the restaurant got a call from someone claiming to be from corporate headquarters who asked them to test their fire suppression system. When they did and reported that they had chemicals from the extinguisher on their clothes, the caller told them they needed to take their clothes off.

The workers said they became suspicious when the caller then told them to urinate on each other.

Didn't Robin Williams co-star in a Law & Order around this same topic last year???

Yep. SVU specifically.

What's the deal with KFC? Wasn't it not long ago that a YouTube vid surfaced about some KFC employees bathing in the sink (prior to BK episode)? And, wasn't there a story about a year or so ago about a restaurant in New York (?) that was overrun with roaches? Wasn't that a KFC, too?

[soapbox]
It is not KFC, it is the f-ckoffs they are hiring. It is not KFCs fault, though, it is the fault of parents these days. I am telling you, we are doomed. There is at least one generation of total f-ckoffs who have the entitlement syndrome because they were babied by their parents until they were 20. They were nurtured and given everything they asked for no matter how preposterous the request. Now that they have been thrown into the real world, they are finding out how sheltered they were from life's realities.

Taco-Bell employees are the stupidest on the planet.
It's like there was a contest and Taco-Bell got the losers.

Nope. That honor goes to Wal-Mart in Ashland, KY.

Runners up:

Applebee's in Ashland, KY.
Long John Silvers in Ironton, OH
Wendy's in Coal Grove, OH
KFC in Ironton, OH

Honorable mention:

FYE (or any other music store employee)

I have not met one music store employee with a general knowledge of music. I'm talking about knowledge any moron listening to the radio would know. Thank God for Amazon.

In the past, EVERYTIME I have asked for a particular album I get the same response, "Um...like...we can order it for you and stuff..." NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....if I wanted it ordered I would order it ONLINE!!! I would save myself from dealing with the graduates from the basements of high school.

Speaking in generalities, KFC and Taco Bell could have a slugfest on who has the stupidest, most incompetent, welfare white trash idiot help -- at least around here. In comparison, McDonalds and Wendy's hires Doctoral candidates from Yale, Dartmouth, Princeton (not WV), and Harvard.

My big fear is that, for them, the real world is the online world....as long as their presence in the online world is all good, then life is all good regardless of the real world.

That's a profound statement. I agree.
