George Kellas on of the owners of WKKX and it's afternoon host has passed away. He had a long broadcast history working for WTRF, WTOV, WWVA, and WKKX.

Nobody loved this valley more than George. We have lost a Great man and a Legend.

I can't say I agreed with him and his commentary to often, but I did some work for them and he is a good guy and his heart really was in it.

This is definitely a shame. I'll always remember the legendary George Kellas eye roll from his days at WTRF. Every time a tape rolled wrong, they'd come back to him in time to see him rolling his eyes. He was one heck of a talk show host. No matter who his sidekick was, the show was always worth a listen.
