I'm not sure if it has opened in West Virginia yet, but The Wrestler debuted in Nashville this weekend. I saw it on Sunday afternoon and the theater was PACKED. It was worth it, though -- it's a phenomenal film. Marisa Tomei is topless but she also did a tremendous job in her role. I've known enough strippers in my time to affirm that she absolutely nailed the role. Mickey Rourke did incredible work in his role, and unless Sean Penn is amazing in Milk (which I haven't seen), I think the Best Male Actor Oscar is Rourke's to win.
Between Slumdog Millionaire and The Wrestler, I'm 2-for-2 in seeing great movies in the theaters this year.

Being a pro-wrestling fan myself (yeah, I admit it!) I want to see this movie in the worst way. It's nice there's a movie out there that actually does the "real" life of former pro-wrestlers some justice, unlike "No Holds Barred!"
