Chester Watts(the KL7) former WKEE Engineer R.I.P.
CHESTER H. WATTS, 83, of Lavalette, W.Va., widower of Elma Lee Watts, died Saturday at home. He was employed in communications and electronics, including WKEE radio. Graveside service 2 p.m. Friday, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. There is no visitation. Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, W.Va., is assisting the family. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Chester was the son of S.O. Shelby Watts. S.O. was one of the founders of the Tri State Amateur Radio Assoc. the club met in the basement of his house on Auburn road he also had a brother named Gene and all three were amateur radio operators (hams) I have a story about Chester and Ed Gurney but not here.
