I wonder how Neilson counts Tivo and Web viewing. That's about the only way I watch TV anymore.

They ask if you have a DVR. I remember reading somewhere that time shifting counts.

They also ask if you have a landline phone, or strictly cell. Presumably, this is one of the reasons why younger demos have been under-represented in Arbritron/Nielsen. At least they're trying to correct this.

I mailed the form out today. We'll see what happens.

Technically, all viewing kinda counts in some way at some point, but it's only "same-day" time-shifted viewing that really counts.


("Same-day," I believe, means something recorded 5a-4:59a is all done being watched by 4:59a....but don't quote me.....)
