Her mommy works for the Herald Dispatch...

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

I can't do it now, but somebody remind me to get around to this next week....the corrector's corrections were incorrect!

It's both better than and worse than it appears.....
"I don't know the same things you don't know."

"Yes, you do; you just won't admit it!"

Poor Lynzee. She's become an internet icon.
She ought to sue her parents for naming her Lynzee.

I feel sorry for people who have parents who give them common first names but then curse them with a really odd spelling of it. I read one time that some couples do that to make their child "unique", as if the bastardization of the spelling of a common name somehow makes their child more unique.

I know several parents who did just that. "My child will unique now", they say. "One of a kind". I told one friend that burning a swastika in your child's forehead with a lit cigarette will also make them unique, and it's equally as stupid as giving them a name no one can easily and quickly spell. When wifey became pregnant (both times) and the child name books appeared on the coffee table, I had only two requests: Nothing flaky or off the wall, and everything, including the middle name, must have the most common spelling.

I tried the "unique name thing" back in a "dry period" of my life, just to spice things up. I never liked the look of "Skott", though...
