Saturday Larese was arrested by Fairmont Police in Marion County. He's charged with two counts of forgery of public record and identity theft.
He's currently in jail on a $30,000 cash only bond.
Larese was once featured as one of Charlestons Most Wanted. At one point he was accused of saying he worked at WSAZ.

The News
Current mood: angry
For the past week I have just sat back and read alot of the articles about me on the internet. I have Google my name, and even have done a yahoo search and found some interesting things. I have even come to learn about a new facebook group that was started to alert people that I'm out of jail. Well people, it's true. I am out of jail. Have been for sometime now. I am not living in the state of West Virginia contrary to some peoples believes......and I AM currently working at a radio station and a premiere gay club as a house DJ. I want to set the record straight on a few things. First, I have not....will not....say that I worked at the television station WSAZ. I also will officially state that I never used WSAZ or listed WSAZ as my employer on any loan document&183; If anyone is interested to see the loan documents that are in question....I will be more than happy to provide them with a copy.....so you can clearly see that I DID NOT list them anywhere on the document&183; I will further go on the record to say that I DID do my internship in the fall of 2001 at WSAZ for my journalism studies at Marshall. Once again, I will provide a copy of my college transcript that clearly shows college credit from when I did my internship at WSAZ. Second, please be aware that I did not go to jail for any identity theft. I went to jail because i simply lied on a finacial avadavid. Furthermore, because of the charleston police departments mistakes...and a clear civil rights violation, my charges were reduced. Third, I am currently in the process of filing suit against WSAZ amd amyone else who wishes to slander my charactor. I do not appreciate anyone listing false information about me on any web page, television program, or billboard. Fourth, it is true that I have finshed writing a book called....News Radio...about this whole ordeal. It will be published this year and I have "outed" alot of people that proably don't want to be. So my bad. Lastly, if you think for one second that I will stand by idle and listen to all of this bull shit....my friends you are sadly mistaken. Let by gones be by gones. I have moved on with my life.....and so should you. I do not wish anyone ill will.......and I try to keep a positive out look on everything. But when you go on attacking me and my family.....well then that's when it becomes personal. I hope that this straightens out alot of things. But I am sure that I will think of something more to write this week. Once again if you want to see any documents that are in question....feel free to send me a message on myspace...and I'll be more than happy to send them to you. New Book
Current mood: accomplished
Well kids I just finished my book up today, and I have a meeting next week with a few publishers......I will say this so far, it will piss off alot of people and bring some very "well-known" West Virginians out of the closet. You may not think that this is very nice of me....but I look at it this way, for the past year I found out who my real friends are and who is fake. I don't do this to hurt anyone, but just to show them what it was like for me to go through it.
In another subject, the capitol city will once again have a voice. Keep your eyes and ears open for my new talk radio show that will be call "The Morning Brew" with Jake "the Con Man" Larese. I can not tell you which station yet....but you will be surprised!!!!! This show will be unlike any-other in Charleston. My show will not hold anything back.....and will piss off both you and the way the goverment is ran in the state. I also will be doing a feature every week called the "Fleacing of West Virginia" where I show you were your tax dollars are going and how sometimes state goverment uses 3 agaencies to do the same job.....this will be very interesting. So look out Charleston...there is a new voice...with an old face that you forgot about........
