I seemed to have missed something. Why is Nick Scott now calling himself Balz McGee? Also, why didn't he get the memo? You know. The one that said his mental status is questionable.

C'mon, stop goading him on.
I would think that being on the air and as successful as he claims would be enough for his ego, but----it seems all of his spare time is seeing what
a handful of radio-geeks are saying about his various alter-egos.
And-------it's really becoming annoying rather than entertaining.

That three separate utterances of the f-word (or a form of it). $325,000 multiplied by three = a big potential penalty for Citadel (KGO's owner) for a 10-second slip-up if anyone files a complaint. And since it happened just past the 9 p.m. top of the hour point in Karel's Saturday show, it wasn't in safe harbor.
In a related note, FCC vs. FOX is slated to hit the Supreme Court today.

The case is FCC v. Fox Television Stations, 07-582.Balz McGee wrote:I didn't know they were battling... Why?
At issue is the FCC's policy, adopted in 2004, that even a one-time use of profanity on live television is indecent because some words are so offensive that they always evoke sexual or excretory images. So-called fleeting expletives were not treated as indecent before then.
