So this is the site?
So this is the site? I honestly expected more. This sites administrators should pick up the pace when approving new members. I've tried to register for days now as KRPinCincy but for some strange reason I haven't been approved. I was so eager to have my name and reputation slammed that I convinced Nick to give me his user name and password. He isn't going to use it anymore so what the fuck. As you can see, I've changed the name on the account. This is not Nick Scott and I will use his user name until mine is approved. None the less, here is why I decided to get some enjoyment out of this website.
I am a 25 year radio vet who had the pleasure of whipping Nick Scott's ass into shape 4 years ago. Nick was a diamond in the ruff when he came along to my station. Passionate, determined, and very talented. Quite frankly, he will probably be interviewing you in the near future. So let's get off Nick's back. He's a good kid who could keep you from getting your next gig (the next opening I have, he's going to get a phone call from me).
We were getting some sick enjoyment out of you guys slamming on a young kid that you don't know. So for my own sick enjoyment and pure astonishment of the immaturity shown by "Radio Vets" on this site. I figured I would let you take a stab at me.
Like I mentioned, I am a 25 year vet. I have been a GM, OM, PD several times over, #1 more times than I can count, been mentioned in FMQB and R&R. I have been syndicated nationally and currently the voice of 20 stations across the US. I am currently an OM for a top 30 market and living the dream. I am 6'4", 240lbs.
Please be creative, We're hoping you guys really show your true stupidity in this thread.

Re: So this is the site?
I am a 75 year radio vet.
I am 7' 10" and weigh 500 lbs.
i can bench press 745 lbs.
My voice is so low that unless you have a 12" woofer, you cannot hear me talk.
You might remember me when I did a radio-skit as "Baz Lurhman" years ago called, "don't forget the sun-screen."
I did that in a very high-pitched voice in order to allow people to hear what I was saying.
I was also fired from radio years ago on KEE-FM for airing a sex-talk I was having with a listener.
I can also whistle at dogs in a pitch so high that humans cannot hear it.
I've also cloned a sheep in my laboratory in my basement. I love that sheep.
So, you can see------I've been around and experienced even MORE than the Cincy guy.
Even with that knowledge and even knowing that I have accomplished more than Cincy guy will ever accomplish-----I still have absolutely ZERO desire
to take Nick Scott under my wing and fight his battles for him.

No sir, not back up. This isn't Cops. Nick and I spoke earlier this week discussing a few business matters. We got off topic and told me a "You never going to believe the assholes at this one website" story. After our conversation I was so intrigued that I had to see for myself. The stupidity of those in our Radio community that chose to cut someone down that they don't even know. The good thing is that some of you use your real names. Those names are great for employers like me. It helps me thin the candidates.Kitesgot wrote:Really?

Re: So this is the site?
But-
If they used an alias how are you going to know who THEY were? How you thinning a herd then?
That doesn't make much sense.
Sounds like a vague attempt at the threat-----when you don't have anything to threaten about.
In all the years of looking at this forum to see what is going on and what is not going on-------I've never seen a melt-down quite like Nick's, and have NEVER seen
a hired gun come on here to do his dirty-deeds.

What do you do in the event of a fire? That stuff is crazy flammable, and with the amount of friction one tends to get in that area...
You've got to be concerned.

You have to pick your battles Ashton.
You either want the dirtiest balls, or you worry about fire.
Everything is a risk and I guess you don't have what it takes to face the danger of testicular-spontaneous-combustion.

How disappointing... The only remarks so far is that this is Nick and I'm fighting his battles. Shame. I merely trying to give you fuel. I want to make an example to mutual friends of mine. An example of what to look out for in your staff and in your future hires. So please, call me names and degrade me. No more cheesy attempts.

Might be a little more believable if you had the patience to wait on your own account to go active.. didnt you check your spam folders for the confirmation?? I had that issue when I first joined..

Well, I gave you kids one full day to impress me with your talentless wits. *sigh* moving on. Those in the professional world (like myself) have great respect for Nick. We're done here.
