Stocks down 400

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Actually, it is the Voodoo National Bank of America which happens to be located in the suburbs of Cincinnati OH. It is a charming little place that is somewhat similar to Applied Card from Wilmington, DE, but does not lend to just anyone that is breathing. HEX is quite big in OH with a field HQ in Columbus and one of the few retailers in the central OH market that was trying to hire in almost every position before Labor Day. Since the bank meltdown, all bets are off as far as employment goes. HEX also owns a couple of AM radio sticks in the Indianapolis, IN area as well although, I have no clue who they are or what there status with the FCC is.

HEX has made huge headlines in many newspapers in Appalachia with a new line of ladies clothing in which we discovered that Paintsville, KY is one of our best markets. Go figure. I said from the first day that I went to work for the company that I fit right in with the lower Buck County PA way of life because it was not much different than that of eastern, KY. Then for the company's best media coverage to come from Johnson, Floyd, and Pike counties in KY just proves that we are just as country and down home as the folks in the area I was reared.

And my co-workers and former supervisor know of my nickname for my charming employer. HEX is thousands of times better than the Evil Empire where I got my start in what I do, Not even in the same category The Good Ship which sank as all of us rats abandoned it but it let me purchase my ole KY home. And most of all, HEX makes me miss the Swastica (Props to Mike Blair) because I still work with a few of my former co-workers from their on research projects through an organization both companies use for research. Small world.

That is 600 points higher than my estimate. I am still pretty sold on Dow Jones finding a floor of 8000 before it rebounds.
Damn! I was high by 2.72 points. Dow closed below 8000.

And my morning cup of Wawa coffee costs more than 2 shares of HEX.
