I don't know which is more absurd--
1. That this fellow was so out of it that he didn't realize what was being done to him, or
2. That these people found what they did to him to be so entertaining.
The long winter evenings must simply fly for those spectators. They seemed more interested in the fact that some guy passed out than they were in the game for which they'd paid to see.
Maybe if I were a drunk or a sports fan I'd get it.
